THE STORY
Rebecca and Ninette met 10 years ago in the year 2000 in Brighton then went on to study togther by conincidence for at CSM on MA Design for Textile Futures. Sharing a mutual love of all things beautiful, they dreamed of opening some kind of shop.
Their playful attitude to materials and love for creating interactive and impractical pieces manifested in designs such as lightsensor furniture, tatoo lingerie, a chair made from lace dipped in porcelain, wooden furniture, upholstered furniture and more recently porcelain lights shown at design fairs in both London and Milan.
Both Rebecca and Ninette felt they shared a common ground in their exploration of aesthetic and material in a sustainable conscious way. They then matured through there work and created an elegant collection of Sustainable faric and paper wall surfaces which was sucessfully launched at Maison et Objet in 2009
The handcrafted wallcouture create is available on a made to order basis.
